V Moda M100
Main Post:
I need the headbands re placed... Does anyone know of a service that does this (Essex,UK)?
Top Comment:
You can do it yourself. I bought a neoprene headband for my m100s about two years ago. And then stitched it underneath to tighten it on the band. Looks good, honestly more comfortable than the original. Had these headphones since 2015, and honestly some of the best, hope your bring you as much joy as mine do.

V-Moda M80 Ear Pads Cushion
Main Post:
Hey,
Have a problem that I assume several people had and perhaps solve it. My M-80 ear pads "exploded", so I am trying to solve and I did not found it anywhere, tried Amazon, Ebay, AliExpres, etc... I cant find for this model, so I am thinking on making some kind of adaptation.
Does any of you have tried, or saw someone, doing this kind of magic and with which model was adapted? Is any of the other V-Moda models sold have a size that the frame of the M80 would fit, even if I use some glue?
I dont care if the pads are on-ear or over-ear, I just want to save this headphone with a non expensive solution. I live in Uk.
Thank you

Check out some of my posts here, I've done a very basic mod to do what you're thinking of. 🎃

I know they'll be good for my music taste but how do they sound while watching movies? I just started getting Blu rays and I want the best sound for under $150

HD560s + V-Moda BoomPro Microphone
Main Post:
Hi All,
Before i purchase this, could you guys give me a recommendation if i am doing this right?
I am currently on a GSP600, and was thinking of changing my headset after...4-5 years of using this one.
I was thinking the HD560s, but it doesn't have a mic and then saw the V-Moda BoomPro Microphone
Then i think in order to use the mic i need to buy this?
Geekria 2.5mm Male to 3.5mm (1/8'') Balanced Female Headphones Adapter for 3.5mm 4-Pole Cable Connected to Balanced 2.5mm Player Device, Aluminum Alloy Conversion Audio Plug, Gold Plated Adapter
Just making sure i got the right 'combo' here :O
Thanks

A 10$ adapter is overkill imho, but it will do the job. But keep in mind you'll have to do some DIY like removing the locking mechanism for the 2.5mm port and the silver round casing so that the 3.5mm will fit. Or you can buy something like this and you're set - https://www.amazon.com/dp/B08PTQK89Y.
Sennheiser 560s + V-Moda BoomPro AMP / DAC
Main Post:
Hey!
My onboard audio is way too noisy so I want to bypass it. Any good recommendations for a DAC / AMP that can take 3.5mm? Really want something that will be as silent as possible especially for the mic
Thank you,

I would suggest Creative X3/X4 or G6 because of price and availability.
Sennheiser/Epos GSX line, never tried any but they seem over priced for what you get but second hand might be worth it.
Schiit has a couple of offerings in the "Fulla" and "HEL", which are wildly over priced for what you get if you live outside of the US and have to pay shipping and tax.
SybaSonic Dac/amp if you need cheap, though it also sound cheap.
Gamble with the chi-fi dac/amps on Amazon , there are claims that some of them are worthwhile.
V-Moda Boompro vs Steelseries Tusq Attachable Microphone
Main Post:
I have a Superlux HD681 headphone and I'm looking for a microphone. I have a good quality DAC (Creative SB X4) and I want my friends to hear my voice of good quality and clear. Their prices are similar in my Country (45$) but I can buy Tusq 15 dolar cheap. If there isn't a notable difference, I'm planning to buy Tusq cause I can use earphones too.
